Medical Command San Diego CHCS-MUMPS

Serving as the prime contractor, CUI provided the Navy Medical
Command San Diego Directorate of Informatics with all on-going,
day-to-day operational, technical, customized software design,
development, testing, analysis, programming support, legacy system
interface, and project management.
Specifically CUI is:
- Integrating object-oriented technologies
into the Easy - CHCS MUMPS data environment using both UML
and Systems Development Life Cycle
- Providing MUMPS programming services to enhance
the CHCS MUMPS interface including building customized reports
- Managing interface projects using a life
cycle methodology that spans from pre-analysis through production
implementation and develop integration testing processes
- Data mapping the CHCS data set
- Conducting technical and user evaluations
of the new CHCS interface
- Conducting feasibility analysis, proof of
concept evaluations, and technical evaluations in support of
customized software development
- Developing implementation plans for the integration
of new software into the existing information services environment
- Preparing all technical documentation including
maintenance and end-user manuals in support of custom software
solutions
- Developing or customizing web applications
and sites in support of LAN/WAN/MAN/VPN and Internet requirements
using XML, ASP, JAVA, JSP/Servletsand, and COM
- Programming customized client-server communications
layer middleware solutions between web-based applications and
the database server
